KeepUpWithKish.com turned a year old,
and I relocated from Durham to Charlotte to take advantage of a career opportunity and to simply expand my horizons. Not once did I ever think making the move to a new, larger city would be be frightening, but exhilarating instead.
The only New Year’s resolution I have is to remain out of my comfort zone,
and moving to a new location where I don’t know anyone definitely forces me to keep my word. By doing this, my networking skills and simple day-to-day interactions with people have enhanced immensely in a short time. My vision board is prominently placed in my apartment and updated with new goals and ideas that remind me to make the best out of my life as a young, gifted and black creative.
