This blog started with fashion.

Years ago, when I wasn’t sure if I wanted to work in the industry professionally, I knew one thing for certain: I loved it. I loved styling outfits, experimenting with textures, layering high and low pieces to create something uniquely me. And most of all, I loved writing about it.
That hasn’t changed.

I still celebrate fashion—through GRWMs, Fit Checks, and styling posts (with brand collaborations on the way). Fashion isn’t just about what I wear; it’s a language, a creative outlet, a way to move through the world with intention. Whether I’m sharing my latest look or analyzing industry trends, my love for fashion will always have a home here.
On Florals & Self-Care
Flowers used to be a hint.

A carefully placed mention, a silent hope that the wrong man would pick up on the right thing. But I realized that the right man—the right people—don’t need hints. They hear you the first time.
So, I stopped waiting.
Now, I buy myself flowers every Sunday. Not as a stand-in for romance, but as a ritual. A reminder that I can create beauty in my own space, on my own terms. I’ve even started gifting handmade arrangements to friends, because flowers should be shared, not just wished for. I also just attended the PHS Philadelphia Flower Show for the first time this year!

It’s become my Self-Care Sunday tradition—one that feels just as indulgent as a designer bag but lasts far longer in spirit.
Fun Is a Non-Negotiable
The best part about being me? I have fun.

I travel—(and if you dig through my old posts, you’ll find plenty of travel diaries to prove it). I play tennis—a hobby I picked up last year but committed to seriously this year, joining my first league and completing my first two matches. I create content, and I’m finally being consistent about it. (Shoutout to my new role as a Kohl’s Creator! 👏🏾) My sister and I also just started our travel page!
I also love art—galleries, exhibits, openings. I recently attended a Black Girls in Art Spaces event in Charlotte, connected with the host over lunch, and took the first steps toward revamping the Raleigh-Durham chapter. If you’re Bull City native like me, then you already know it pains me to label anything as “Raleigh-Durham,” but that’s what the chapter is called. 😂

And beyond all that, I give my time to causes that matter—volunteering on the Durham County Women’s Commission, helping to shape policies that improve opportunities for women and girls in my community.
This blog, much like my life, isn’t just one thing.
It’s fashion.
It’s florals.
It’s fun.
And I’m excited to bring it all back to this space.
